Rough Draft

A slum is a squalid and overcrowded street or district inhabited by very poor people.  The existence of slums affects human populations because slums attracts more people to the city, they are dangerous, and have poor sanitation.
Having slums attract more people to the city causes a higher increase in their cities population. In document one it reads "urbanization is the increase in area or population of a city or town and the process by which a rural area becomes a large population center".
In addition slums can be very dangerous as well. In an interview some one describs the living conditions of living in slums and says "rivers do not just carry sewage but also chemicals from farming estates outside the slum. It is littered with refuse, to plastic bags, glass bottles... The polluted stream sometimes overflows and floods them" .
And lastly slums have poor sanitation.  In document 2 is reads " rivers do not just carry sewage but also chemicals from farming estates outside the slum. It is littered with refuse, to plastic bags, glass bottles."
In conclusion Slums affect human population because slums affect more people to the city, they are dangerous, and have poor sanitation .
